This is a hub service which provides services to a number of people in Cavan. Service provision includes social integration and community inclusion projects and programmes led by New Directions. Service users avail of programmes including independent living training, healthy lifestyle programmes, sport leisure activities. Some service users are in part-time supported employment positions with ongoing support from the service as part of New Directions project. Social integration and community inclusion activities form an ongoing part of supports provided at the centre on a daily and weekly basis.

This centre has capacity for 36 people in total. It houses a meeting room, relaxation room, a kitchen/dining area all downstairs. The programmes on offer are meditation, ladies group, men’s group, bingo, quizzes, current affairs, communication class, go for life, one-to-one cooking classes, computers, monopoly, board games walks, general knowledge, pool, library, skittles, arts and crafts, service user activity choice and games. Service users get the chance to gain independence by participating in programme along with partaking in the courses run by the VEC and Rehab Group's learning division, National Learning Network. The service users can go on to college level after the VEC and NLN training if they so wish.

The day centre in Bantry is open Tuesday to Friday 9am -5pm to male and female clients with a physical and sensory disability aged between 18 to 65 at the time of application. We deliver an outreach service to clients in the Castletownbere area on Mondays. Door to door transport is provided to clients who attend the Physical and Sensory Day Centre. The day service offers a wide range of activities within the day service and local community such as yoga, shiatsu, reflexology, art, computers, drama and music, educational courses with local education centres, volunteer work and links in with employability.

Bantry Respite Service aims to provide a break for service users, in a home from home setting whilst providing professional care and support to those using the service. Bantry Respite Service provides a three night respite service (Monday – Thursday or Tuesday - Friday) to any persons both male and female with a physical and/or sensory disability who live in West, North Cork & South Lee Care Area and are between the ages of 18 & 65 years old, at the time of referral. This service is not available for children (under 18 years old) or those who are referred following their 66th birthday.

The service operates a variety of activities both centre and community based with options of two or three activities morning and afternoon timetable is available upon request. The service links in with local charity shops for volunteer work and other establishments for work experience, employability for employment opportunities and local colleges and schools for further education courses and is part of the social farming programme in West Cork.

Staff in HOPS work collaboratively to impart skills, create awareness and meet social needs. We promote open positive relationships, trust and fun. The Galway Acquired Brain Injury Service is a neuro outreach service providing individuals with MS or those who suffered a traumatic or acquired brain injury and/or other neurological conditions. Individuals are guided through our various rehab programmes, some of which are ABI management and awareness, personal and behavioural development with life skills management, individually goal focused plans, delivered by ABI specialised community support workers out in the community. RehabCare Ballinamore is a day service which is person-centred focused with emphasis on the New Directions policy as set out by HSE. The centre supports 37 adults with learning difficulties, mental health issue and physical disabilities. The service is divided into two different areas with a day service in Ballinamore town which operates five days a week, a Hub unit based in Carrick On Shannon which operates four days a week. In line with New Directions we also use the opportunity whilst in this Hub unit for community involvement and for maximising independence. Service users are involved in a variety of programmes to suit their individual needs.

Cairdeas is a physical and sensory respite service. The service provides respite breaks to people with a physical and sensory disability and is based on a social model of support, responding to the individual needs of the guests. The service is available to any person, male or female, with a physical and/or sensory disability who resides in the Mid-West Area and is between the ages of 18 and 65 years old at the time of referral. The philosophy of our centre-based services is to provide a home from home setting, making it an enjoyable and relaxed time for the individual in an environment where the family can be confident that their family member's needs are being well catered for. Our service is designed to meet individual needs. We therefore consider people individually and can accommodate people with varying levels of support needs. A respite break may be any length of time but usually a 5 day or 7 day stay depending on the individual’s needs.

Canal View’ opened in August 2018 on the main street of Tullamore, and service users currently attending are encouraged to access the resources of the town in a flexible and creative way using the New Directions philosophy. Community inclusion, independence, choice and rights are inherent elements of the multiplicity of supports provided. The main objectives of Canal View are to improve the quality of the lives of all the attendees, while increasing their opportunities for true inclusion within society.

Tús Nua Resource Centre is a day service for adults with a mild or moderate intellectual disability. Thurles Resource Centre is a five day-service for adults with ASD, intellectual disability and associated behavioural challenges from the North Tipperary catchment area. The Resource Centre provides service users with opportunities for personal development, independent living, independent choice, experiential and educational programmes, therapeutic supports, work experience, community integration and social and leisure activities. Needs are met through individual, person-centred plans and tailored timetables. Service users are offered one-to-one staffing support, funded through the HSE.

Serving the areas of North Tipperary and Limerick, Nenagh Resource Centre has provided day service supports since 2002. The service provides educational, recreational and social programmes for participants living with mild to profound ID. The staff team, supported by a Community Employment scheme, provide individual supports to its 29 participants under the HSE's New Directions framework. The participants range in age from 18 to 67, and delivery of service is built upon a person centred approach.

RehabCare Wexford is a resource centre located on the outskirts of Wexford town offering a day service to adults primarily with learning disabilities, but also people with mental health challenges, acquired brain injury and physical and sensory disabilities. Each service user has their own individual, person-centred plan aimed at enhancing their independence and quality of life in line with New Directions. All programmes run in the centre stem from the service users' outcomes and therefore are wide and varied and include multi-sensory therapy, individual cookery programmes, money management, basic electronics, skin care and photography.
