At NLN in Mulhuddart we provide a range of free courses to people who have had an accident, illness, injury or have a disability and extra support needs.
Our courses are tailored to each student’s needs, to help them to build their confidence while getting practical job-seeking skills to help them get a job or go on to further training.

This training programme is designed to offer students an opportunity to explore personal, social and work skills and includes a high level of integration into the local community. Underpinning this programme is New Directions, a HSE person centred service for adults with disabilities. Modules on offer are delivered in a flexible manner and include activities and methods based on a cross modular approach. All modules are delivered at QQI level 3. Designed to provide students with opportunities to learn the life skills, knowledge and attitudes needed to develop personal effectiveness and self-advocacy skills. It supports students to become more independent in social and work situations and to progress onto further training or education.

Vocational Skills Foundation
This is an introductory skills programme focusing on literacy/ numeracy supports, skills sampling, communications and work experience. The programme provides students with the basic tools for further study and supports learners in achieving QQI Level 3 certification.
