ST. PATRICK’S DAY FESTIVAL

Rehab Group is delighted to announce that it will be the official charity partner for the St. Patrick’s Festival 2009. The Festival provides a unique opportunity for Rehab to raise awareness of its work and also to raise funds for services nationwide.

The St. Patrick’s Festival 2009 will run from the 12th to 17th March and during the five days 4,000 performers and a million people are expected to participate in music, street theatre, carnivals, comedy, street performances and treasure hunts.

The Festival will culminate with the St. Patrick’s Day parade on March 17th, whose theme this year is “Sky’s the limit!” Four lucky people from Rehab services will be taking part in the Festival parade in Dublin city centre, while Ronan Hayes, who won the Young Person of the Year Award last September will be on the judging panel for the parade.

Rehab will also participate in the Denny Big Day Out, which takes place in Merrion Square, Dublin, on Sunday, 15th March. The Rehab zone will feature lots of fun activities for kids of all ages as well as information on Rehab and the services provided.
