Fancy a trip down under?

Rehab is offering volunteer walkers a unique opportunity to fundraise and explore the wonders of the Northern Territory and Western Australia on a 14-day trip of a lifetime while, in the process, helping benefit services to people with disabilities in communities around the country.

The Rehab trek will cover the diverse cities of Darwin, Perth and Fremantle, the historic town of Alice Springs and the legendary sites of Australia’s famous Outback.

The adventure begins in Darwin, the tropical capital of the north. In this multicultural city, the elegance of a bygone age is preserved in the historic Old Darwin Town House, the Old Police Station and Courthouse, and Lyons Cottage.

In Alice Springs, an oasis in the heart of a vast red desert, walkers can take in the dazzling views of the town from Anzac Hill or visit The Museum of Central Australia.

The trek will take in some spectacular natural sights including the unique scenery of Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park and its stunning gorges, rugged ranges and rock-holes.

Watching the sun rise and set over Uluru

The highlight of the trip will be a visit to Australia's most famous natural landmark, Uluru (Ayers Rock). An outstanding natural phenomenon, it is the world’s largest monolith and walk participants will be able to enjoy a magnificent sunrise and sunset at this sacred Aboriginal site.

A change of pace will bring walkers to the city of Perth, Western Australia’s state capital. Here, walkers will be able to visit the shopping haven of Sorrento Quay and Hilary’s Boat Harbour as well as the tranquil and scenic Kings Park and picturesque Cottessloe Beach with its fine white sands.

The final stop on the journey is Fremantle, a vibrant city on the edge of the Indian Ocean. Home to the Victorian Fremantle Prison and the spectacular Maritime Museum, Fremantle is one of Australia’s most historic locations.

The last leg of this magnificent trip takes us to magical Singapore, the shopping capital of the world. Everything you could possibly desire can be found here. If sightseeing and adventure are what you are looking for, look no further - Singapore Zoo and the night safari is a must. There are the delights of beautiful Sentosa Island with its magnificent beaches, China Town, Little India, Clarke’s Quay and not-forgetting the world-famous Raffles for your Singapore Sling.

So come along with us and enjoy the Trip of a Lifetime while helping to provide the very best courses and facilities for people with disabilities in your area.
