REHAB/TOP OIL CAR WASH DAY
It’s time to get buckets and sponges at the ready! This year’s Rehab/Top Oil Car Wash Day will take place at locations nationwide on Saturday, 5th July 2008.
Launching this year’s event, Orlaith Rafter, who plays mechanic Robin in Fair City, swapped her tools for suds and a sponge to wash cars and call for volunteers to get involved. The Rehab/Top Oil Car Wash Day is a great opportunity for people to get together with family and friends, to have some fun and support their local community. So whether you volunteer as a car washer or just have your car washed on the day – there are loads of ways you can get involved and help support a worthy cause. All proceeds from the day go directly to Rehab.
Seventeen Top Oil depots and retail outlets in 10 different counties will be supporting the event and members of the public are encouraged to get their car washed in these venues on the day. There will be helpers at each location and, for a minimum donation of €8, cars will be cleaned by volunteers. However, getting a car wash is not the only way of making a donation on the day – each location will also offer air fresheners and windscreen washes for €2 each.
This year’s Rehab/Top Oil Car Wash Day will take place in the following Top Oil depots and retail outlets on 5th July. So, come along and show your support!
