Mediability Media Production Company
Mediability is a unique production company, employing people with disabilities. Since its inception in 2002, Mediability has provided a huge social benefit to the community. Nine people with disabilities have trained as journalists, research assistants and producers. They have been supported by Mediability to develop successful careers in the Irish media industry.
Our journalists, based throughout the country, offer a nationwide service including an extensive range of in-house production services culminating in high-end, tailored print and audio-visual solutions for corporate and community clients.

With our state of the art broadcast standard equipment we can offer superb video shooting packages at very competitive rates. We offer full production services for all corporate and commercial needs.
Mediability has produced a number of newsletters for community groups. Our monthly magazine Grapevine has now been inserted into Rehab News, a magazine with a nationwide circulation. Mediability journalists are also regular contributors to local press and radio, and to Insight Magazine, Ireland's health and social affairs monthly. In the broadcast media, two recent disability television series - From the Outside in and Three 60 - required the research skills of Mediability journalists. This supports our original goal of ensuring that people with disabilities have the right of participation in the media at all levels of production.
Having a trained team of journalists with disabilities working within the Irish media will help influence and shape the public perception of disability and reduce the marginalisation of those with disabilities within the wider community.
