Get on Your Bike this September for Rehab! Participants sought for South of Ireland Cycle Challenge
Monday, 17th May 2010: Fancy enjoying a cycling challenge along some of Ireland’s most beautiful coastline scenery while, at the same time, raising valuable funds for Rehab? Rehab is proud to announce details of its first-ever South of Ireland Cycle Challenge, which takes place this September. The three-day, 385-kilometre cycle starts in Rosslare, Co. Wexford on Friday, 24th September and travels along the Waterford and Cork coastline arriving at Ireland’s most southerly point, Mizen Head on Sunday, 26th September 2010. A bus transfer will then take cyclists back to Kilkenny.
On the challenge, cyclists will pass through some of Ireland’s most picturesque seaside towns and villages including Dungarvan, Clonakilty and Kinsale. It promises to be an adventure not to be missed for cyclists of all levels!
Sponsorship for the event costs just €750 (including €100 deposit, required by August 20th). Proceeds from the event will go towards local Rehab services.
